We warmly welcome you to the Aalto Investment Club’s Info Evening on 10.9.!
This event is all about getting to know AIC as a student association and community, meeting our board of ‘25, and connecting with fellow students while enjoying delicious bagels paired with wine.
We are also delighted to have experienced professionals Esa Juntunen and Pauliina Martikainen on stage, sharing insights on their careers and paths as investors.
In addition, you’ll have an opportunity to hear how and why you should apply to the AIC’s board of 2026! Whether you’re just getting started with investing, looking to deepen your knowledge or just curious about what AIC is all about, this event is for you!

EVENT Speakers
Pauliina Martikainen – Partner at Maki.vc
Pauliina Martikainen is a prominent actor in the Finnish startup and venture capital ecosystem, currently serving as a Partner at Maki.vc and on the board of directors of several tech companies. Prior to joining Maki.vc, Pauliina co-founded Wave Ventures, which has become Europe’s largest student-led venture capital firm backing young founders at the earliest stage across the Nordics. Additionally, Pauliina was chosen for the distinguished Forbes 30 Under 30 in the field of finance in 2023.
Esa Juntunen – Author, Blogger, and Development Manager at Howden Finland
Esa Juntunen is an investment author, blogger, and columnist, best known for his popular blog Omavaraisuushaaste and his bestselling books Vaurastu Viisaasti and Viisas Sijoittaja. Esa is widely recognised for his transparent approach to personal finance and investing, and in 2023, he was awarded as Finland’s Investor of the Year. In addition to his work on increasing financial awareness, Esa has built a successful career in the insurance sector, working currently as IT Development Manager at Howden Finland
